After Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan is all praise for Alia Bhatt; shares a picture from the sets of Brahmastra 

Brahmastra is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films of the year. After multiple delays, director Ayan Mukerji revealed the release date of the film a few weeks ago. Starring Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor the film is set to release on December 4 and is made on a massive scale.

A day ago, Amitabh Bachchan took to his twitter feed and praised co-star Ranbir Kapoor and shared photos with the actor clicked on the set. Now, Big B took to his handle to share a heartwarming picture with Alia Bhatt. 

Amitabh Bachchan shared a monochrome photo in which we can see Alia giving a hug to the superstar. Bachchan even praised Alia calling her supremely talented. "... she breezed in .. did her shot .. a huddle .. and out .. the effervescent, supremely talented, scintillating Alia ..," Amitabh Bachchan wrote.

Meanwhile, the shoot of the film is nearing its end. Brahmastra stars Ranbir and Alia as the leads while Big B, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy will be seen essaying pivotal roles in the film. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, it is produced by Karan Johar.

Ali Abbas Zafar in talks with Diljit Dosanjh for film based on India's 1984 riots

Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar is in talks with actor Diljit Dosanjh for a film based on the 1984 riots in India that occurred post the assassination of Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. According to the reports, he has always wanted to make a film based on the riots and now has found the subject to work on the script. He will be creatively involved in the script apart from producing it. Ali and his team are in talks with Diljit Dosanjh and feel he is best suited for the character. The actor reportedly has agreed verbally but the makers take a final narration in a few months. The idea is to begin the project after the situation returns to normalcy. Interestingly, Diljit Dosanjh has already worked on Punjabi film Punjab 1984 based on the rights that was directed by Anurag Singh. Released in 2014, it won National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Punjabi.
