Sophie Choudry's ‘Monday blues’ is what we would all wish for

Ever since the lockdown restrictions have been lifted in the country, several Bollywood celebrities have headed to Maldives for a quick vacation. From Varun Dhawan to Taapsee Pannu to Tiger Shroff and many others have chosen Maldives as their preferred holiday destination during the pandemic. Actress Sophie Choudry, too headed to Maldives, and has been regularly sharing some stunning pictures of herself from her getaway.

Ever since she reached the island country, Sophie has been updating her Instagram feed with pictures of herself in different outfits. On Monday, she posted an all blue picture. In the picture shared by the actress she can be seen wearing a blue halter neck bra and blue denim shorts and is posing in the backdrop of the blue sea. "My kinda Monday blues," she captioned the post.

Sophie recently held an Ask Me Anything Session on Instagram and answered a few questions by her followers. An Instagram user asked her about one of her favourite moments during her Maldives trip, she replied, "Seeing sharks go past me when I went sunset snorkeling and then seeing so many of them from so close. It was magical."

Ali Abbas Zafar in talks with Diljit Dosanjh for film based on India's 1984 riots

Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar is in talks with actor Diljit Dosanjh for a film based on the 1984 riots in India that occurred post the assassination of Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. According to the reports, he has always wanted to make a film based on the riots and now has found the subject to work on the script. He will be creatively involved in the script apart from producing it. Ali and his team are in talks with Diljit Dosanjh and feel he is best suited for the character. The actor reportedly has agreed verbally but the makers take a final narration in a few months. The idea is to begin the project after the situation returns to normalcy. Interestingly, Diljit Dosanjh has already worked on Punjabi film Punjab 1984 based on the rights that was directed by Anurag Singh. Released in 2014, it won National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Punjabi.
